The SF67 helical worm gear reducer is one of the workhorses of the SF family: 67 mm centre distance, two-stage helical-worm gearing, and mounting variants covering the S67, SAF67, SA67 and SAZ67 builds in the same frame family. It suits buyers who need dependable right-angle gearbox performance - with 94%~96% efficiency, quiet operation and a cast-iron body that survives dusty, humid or outdoor installations.
Six mounting variants share the same gear set: SF67 (foot, solid shaft), S67, SAF67 (foot, hollow shaft), SA67, SAZ67 and flanged versions - so one inventory covers many machine types. Bearings are fitted by HRB/LYC/ZWZ or by SKF/FAG/NSK on request.

Naming makes selection easy: S = solid shaft, SA = hollow shaft, SAF = hollow shaft with flange, SAZ = torque-arm version - all sharing the same gear set and centre distance as the SF foot model.
A grain terminal powers its bucket elevators with SF77 gear reducers. The anti-run-back option holds the loaded buckets during power cuts, and standard interface dimensions meant the old foundations were reused as-is.
A stone quarry runs SF87 reducers on its primary conveyor. Shock loads from oversized rock are absorbed by the case-hardened gears (surface HRC58-62), and after two years of continuous duty the units run within their original 68 dB noise spec.
Take a 4 kW, 1440 rpm motor stirring a paddle mixer that must run at 29 rpm. The ratio follows directly: 1440 / 29 = 50, so i=50 is chosen. In this case the SA67 hollow-shaft version slides onto the mixer shaft - no coupling needed. The two-stage design reaches 94%~96% efficiency depending on the transmission stage - well above a single-stage worm unit, because the helical input stage handles the first reduction with less sliding loss.
GB L-CKC220~460 or Shell Omala 220~460 as supplied. Under normal duty the housing is lubricated for life; in hot or continuous-duty environments an oil change after the first 400 hours and then every 4000 hours is recommended.
