The RX57 helical gear reducer is the entry frame of the WGT RX range. Motor, gearbox and driven shaft sit on one centre line, so the drive needs no side clearance - which is why the 57 mm frame turns up so often where a machine frame is narrow and a right-angle unit simply would not clear the structure. Gearing is case-hardened and ground, so the unit holds its efficiency across the whole ratio band instead of fading away at high reduction.

Every RX57 is built on the same tooling as the standard production line and checked against the frame drawings before dispatch. Units leave the plant with a one-year warranty, an installation manual and a test record covering noise, temperature rise and backlash. Send the ratio and output speed you need, or a photo of the existing nameplate, and we reply with a firm quotation and delivery date within 24 hours.
Take a 0.75 kW four-pole motor (1400 rpm) turning a laning conveyor at 32 rpm. The ratio follows directly: 1400 / 32 = 43.75, so i=45 is selected. In this case the 57 mm inline frame keeps the whole drive on one axis under the line. The same three numbers - motor speed, target output speed, required torque - are all you need; our engineers (or the online selector below) cross-check the service factor for your duty cycle.

The table below lists the foot-mounted RX frames; naming makes selection easy: RX = foot-mounted solid shaft, RXF = flange-mounted, RXS = shaft-mounted - all sharing the same gear set, ratio and centre distance as the RX foot model.
A stone quarry runs reducers on its primary conveyor. Shock loads from oversized rock are absorbed by the case-hardened gears (surface HRC58-62), and after two years of continuous duty the units still run within their original 68 dB noise spec.
A flour mill standardised on gear reducers for its screw conveyor network. One spare-part pool now covers fifteen drives, and the smooth helical input stage keeps noise low in the packing hall.

Yes - the series is manufactured to the same centre distances, shafts and flange dimensions of the common industry frames, so couplings, guards and foundations stay untouched.
GB L-CKC220~460 or Shell Omala 220~460 as supplied. Under normal duty the housing is lubricated for life; in hot or continuous-duty environments an oil change after the first 400 hours and then every 4000 hours is recommended.
A one-year warranty covers material and workmanship. Each unit ships with a test record (noise, temperature rise, backlash), a dimension drawing and an installation manual.
