The R67 helical gear unit is one of the workhorses of the R family: 67 mm centre distance, a quiet two- or three-stage helical train, and mounting variants covering the R67 and its RF67, RS67 and RFS67 mounting builds in the same frame family. It suits buyers who need dependable inline gearbox performance together with a cast-iron body that survives dusty, humid or outdoor installations.
The mounting variants share one gear set, so a single stock of internals covers many machine types - foot-mounted R67, flange-mounted RF67, and the RS67 / RFS67 shaft and flange combinations. Selection is made by mounting and interface, not by performance: ratio, torque capacity and backlash are the same across the family.

Frame numbers follow the centre distance. Mounting variants do not change performance: foot, flanged and shaft-mounted versions of a given frame all use identical gearing and the same internal parts.
An environmental-equipment plant uses reducers on the rotary valve feeders of its dust-extraction systems. Compact size, quiet running and food-grade oil options made the approval easy.
On the run-out table of a small steel mill, units handle the repeated starts and stops of hot billet handling. The 42CrMo output shafts tolerate the thermal cycling, and torque-arm mounting keeps the drive clear of the roller frames.
Conveyor, mixer, crusher and wastewater duties share the same gear family.
Take a 7.5 kW, 1450 rpm motor turning the extruder screw at 48 rpm. The ratio follows directly: 1450 / 48 = 30, i=30 chosen. In this case steady torque at low speed keeps the melt pressure even. Motor speed over target speed gives the ratio; the driven machine decides the service factor, and the two together decide the model.

Backlash is the small free rotation between input and output. We hold it within 20 arcmin - tight enough for indexing tables, positioning drives and reversing applications, without the cost of a precision servo gearbox.
We can supply food-grade lubricant, FKM (Viton) oil seals and stainless fasteners for washdown areas. These units are common in bakeries, dairies and packaging halls where hygiene and moisture are daily concerns.
